A safe autonomous solution requires reliable data for the perception system. Annotell helps to enable autonomous vehicles by providing a comprehensive solution to data for development and validation of its perception system. The role

Our Advisory Services department guides our customers to build safer and better products. As an AD/ADAS Perception Expert, you become part of a team who understands the automotive industry specialised in AD/ADAS domain, machine learning and system safety around it and who can connect these aspects to build and validate perception systems for safe autonomous driving. The team advises our clients on how the objective of building safe autonomous vehicles transfer to perception system KPI requirements as well as annotation context, content and quality. At what level of detail does the ground-truth data need to be labeled to provide dependable system KPIs and proofs of safety? What requirements do not benefit safety or quality and can be dropped? These are examples of topics that our team handles.

The team of experts dare to tell the inconvenient truth and challenge our clients’ ideas. Our goal is not only their convenience and happiness, but their success. That means you must understand what matters to them and guide them in the right direction and you also need to be credible in your interactions and structured in your work.

Besides, the domain expertise carried by the team specially in the role of Perception Expert will be made available throughout the company to help drive forward our product offerings and help argue what makes the perception system safe as part of the company mission.

You should also have most of these hard skills

• At least four years in a relevant technical field of study (software/electrical/electronic engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, data science, machine learning)

• At least three years of experience working with AD/ADAS sensors or/and sensor data(camera, radar, lidar)

• At least three years of experience working with computer vision/machine learning for AD/ADAS perception systems

• Experience in client-facing roles

• Experience using python and working in databases (SQL) or similar languages

• Experience working with AD/ADAS function/system development or validation will be a plus

• Experience with functional safety (ISO26262)/ SOTIF will be a plus
